Photography for Wellness and Creatives

Good people doing cool things.

I also love taking photos of creative events and endeavours: retreats, festivals, pop-ups and independent businesses doing something a little bit different.  Whether you're hosting a yoga workshop, a wellbeing gathering, a creative festival or need some photos to represent your little business, tell me a little about your plans and I'll get back to you with the next steps.

Lucy and Tom over at The Wild Sauna in the Cotswolds always do things properly. Their sauna is handmade from a horse box - all wood and metal touches around the place are made by them. There’s an outdoor shower, bath and fresh water stream to dip in. Lucy and I met over 20 years ago in Lush when we were enjoying a good party and having fun selling soap. Lucy still makes natural lotions and potions which she also sells at the sauna. These two legends and this place are the best!

Orla from Orla Corby Yoga and I met when I photographed her wedding. When she started her business, she got in touch to see if I could take some pics. It was so lovely to see her again and to photograph her as she started this cool new direction in life.

Fiona Brice is a multi instrumental, orchestral arranger, performer and composer: often associated with the band Placebo with whom she worked with for 12 years. These images were taken for the release of her album “And You Know I Care” where some of the images were used on the vinyl cover for her 12” LP released on Bella Union.

I have photographed Alice Gray Yoga in a few locations over the years and also did the photos for her Yoga Teacher Training manual.

Some other bits and bobs I’ve photographed: Gomez “Bring It On” Tour at Glasgow Barrowlands, Hofesh Schechter at Roof East, The Warren at Brighton Festival, the amazing Cathy Moran at Finnieston Yoga Shala and restaurant legends, Kitgum Kitchen down in Brighton.
