Come and get married in London. I’ll photograph the whole little adventure.
London registry office & town hall weddings. Creative, natural, documentary style photography for folks who want photographs that capture it all while keeping things nice and chilled. Sans drama.
The plan for small city wedding action usually goes something like this: the ceremony, a mooch, drinks, speeches.
If you're getting married at a registry office or town hall and fancy a few hours of relaxed, natural photography then you’re in the right place.
Islington
Town Hall
Wedding
Gabby & Steph
Ceremony - go for a mooch - taxi - palomas in the sun - Sri Lankan curry - speeches
Gabby and Steph got married at Islington Town Hall with family and friends from the New Forest, Sri Lanka and Australia. It was quite dreamy. I hopped on my bike with my gear and arrived early to capture guests arriving, they had the ceremony and some fizz outside before the three of us went for a mooch around the area.
We jumped in a taxi and arrived at a pub for Sri Lankan curry but, before that, a paloma in the sun. At the back of the pub, the narrow staircase wound up to a cute Sri Lankan curry spot. Prayers and speeches commenced and then I took my leave.
This is my favourite kind of wedding day. A few hours, the people you love, somewhere good to eat, a couple of drinks and photographs that capture it all. If that sounds like you're sort of thing too and you’re planning your Islington Town Hall wedding, I’d love to hear your plans. Chelsea
Town Hall
Wedding
Steven & Felipe
Ceremony - go for a mooch - crêpes and espresso martinis - kids depart - go for another mooch
Steven and Filipe got married at Chelsea Town Hall with their two best mates and their children. Emotional speeches and laughter with friendships built over decades. Kate and Emma travelled from South Africa to share their day with them.
Top tip: parking in Chelsea is very tricky - book a space ahead of time or get a ticket.
Steven and Filipe wanted to keep things very natural and, although super loving with one another, they didn’t want to get too mushy in front on the camera. If you can relate to that then the best thing to do is go for a walk and a chat and we’ll stop at some nice spots along the way. Chambers
Wedding
Rory & Rachael
Ceremony - group pics - Botanical Gardens - mooch around the city - drinks at home - dinner at The Ivy
Raquel and Rory’s wedding was just just their family a few friends at the registry office and then some boosting around the city. They wanted the style to be relaxed and easy going which it was - there was some stop offs at the Botanical Gardens and a coffee shop then over to Rory’s folks’ place for some drinks before heading to The Ivy for dinner. Raquel was wearing a Joseph suit and looked so effortlessly stylish. Raquel’s family are Portuguese and travelled over for the wedding so there was a lovely Brazilian Scottish fusion going on.
